Indonesian movies have gone international recently with movies like Satan's Slaves (2017) and May the Devil Take You (2020) hitting the big time.
Now we find Mantra Surugana (2023) available on streaming and causing waves. Not the greatest movie ever made but with enough entertaining scares to keep you watching (though a bit of editing wouldn't have gone amiss in the first half). Surprisingly gory for an Indonesian movie, it won't be to everyone's taste.
