TV Terrors • Low-Cal Munster

What I find strange about this episode of The Munsters is that it's a Thanksgiving themed episode which originally aired October 29. One would expect a Halloween episode on that date and a Thanksgiving episode to be more suitable during the month of November.

Does anyone have any behind-the-scenes information on why a Thanksgiving themed episode would air shortly before Halloween?
