Okay... this is a real odd one, and I'm wondering if anyone else here has seen this. The local TV listing said that William Campbell and William Shatner were starring in this film. The one-line description of the film (with 1980 given as the year of release) is as follows:
"A spaceship is trapped in an unknown time period after encountering a mysterious planet."
As it turns out, someone had taken a handful of Star Trek episodes and spliced them together into a more or less single storyline. The footage with Campbell was from The Squire of Gothos episode. The only other episode I can recall being scavenged for footage was the one with the planet that made the crewmembers' daydreams become a reality; with Kirk's academy foil Finnegan, Alice in Wonderland, and a samurai for Sulu.
The entire package was a bit of a hack job.
