Who knows when it'll come out, but I just sent McFarland my 13th (I think) and probably LAST book of interviews. "Last" only because the number of people who made the 70-, 80-, 90-year-old movies I like has mysteriously dwindled. (In fact, a number of the interviewees IN this book have "dwindled" since they talked to me. MOST of 'em, in fact.) Judy Bamber on BUCKET OF BLOOD and MONSTROSITY, Jeanne Cooper on BLACK ZOO, Roger Corman on MONSTER FROM THE OCEAN FLOOR, Dee Denning on her parents Richard Denning and Evelyn Ankers, RETURN OF DRACULA's Norma Eberhardt and Virginia Vincent, Andrew J. Fenady on TERROR IN THE HAUNTED HOUSE and ARNOLD, Bert I. Gordon on THE CYCLOPS, Gary Kent on DRAC VS. FRANK and HOUSE OF SEVEN CORPSES, John Landis on Vincent Price's participation in his THRILLER video, Joyce Holden on THE WEREWOLF, TERROR FROM THE YEAR 5000 and YOU NEVER CAN TELL, June Lockhart on SHE-WOLF OF LONDON, Gary Lockwood on THE MAGIC SWORD, the screenwriter of DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK, Noel Neill on SUPERMAN, Ed Nelson on BRAIN EATERS,Pat Priest on THE MUNSTERS, one of THE SLIME PEOPLE, Jo Swerling Jr. on writing-directing all of Karloff's THRILLER intros, Joan Taylor on EARTH VS. FLYING SAUCERS and 20 MILLION MILES, somebody else's interview with the producer of THEM! and a whole bunch more. The end of an era!
