"The hour of the shamans is near." Inhabitants of a "parallel dimension" intrude upon ours. Ingredients: floating spirits, boogey faces, big hairy monsters in a forest, mermaids, an okay "jump shock" with a goblin, a doppelganger with a malleable head, a horde of the living dead who can't accept that they're dead, and a pinch of "Zarathustra" as, at fadeout, a spaceship lands on Earth. Sequel to the far superior "Spirit Warriors" (2000) seems to have been made quickly and relatively cheaply, to cash in on the original's success. The high schoolers here are a bunch of nervous nellies, and the other dimension is filmed so darkly that it's sometimes hard to make out exactly what they're nervous about.![😕]()
