Well-paced (Lew Landers, director) and acted, if sometimes lazily written Blackie.  Movie improves as it goes along.  Odd order from Blackie:  "And don't let the Runt stand up."  Still a little odd, even in context.  Produced by Wallace MacDonald, who was behind several of the better Forties sf/horror movies, including "The Devil Commands" and "The Unknown".  Good bits by Cy Kendall and Paul Fix.🙂
