For those of you that have purchased any of the Universal studios monster films, are they region free? I read on DVD Beaver that they were region free.
Due to the reported audio drop on the Werewolf of London Blu-ray, I was interested in buying one of these. I only have the DVD double feature of Werewolf of London/She-Wolf of London. I did not buy The Wolf Man set because I already have them (sans these 2 titles) on the other U monster sets.
I went into Amazon and decided to place an order for WWOL, in UK rather than France...but the vendor told me it was not region free. I have since sent an inquiry to the vendor in France, but have not heard back.
Customer reviews of WWOL state that the Elephant films edition does not suffer from any audio drop and that the source material used gives a better image than on the U.S. editions, which I wonder how that's true based on Universal studios source of the film.
Any comments are appreciated.
