Scott Nollen's life was rather brief, but astonishingly accomplished, and I'm curious about one of his less discussed projects...that being the 1979 backyard feature SON OF FRANKENSTEIN. He wore every hat in this grassroots production, which is said to be an ambitious amateur love-letter to Golden Age UNI monster movies(with a $2,500 piggy-bank...not too bad, as these things go). Omaha horror hosts Doctor San Guinary and Igor aired it on their KMTV CREATURE FEATURES show shortly after prodction wrapped, and I'm aware of a scant few subsequent screenings. So...where's this homegrown wonderwork hiding? Has anyone 'round here seen it?
