Sometimes a film with a fairly basic premise comes seemingly from nowhere with high expectations - such is the case with this Korean movie based on a successful TV series Reply 1997.

A stuntman aged forty lies dying after a stunt goes wrong. He ponders a life filled with regret - decisions he took that were wrong, people he let down - you know the score. Earlier, he bought five magical amulets from a street trader. He falls unconscious, wakes up and finds himself back in high school in 1997 with a chance to live his life again. The film is due for release across Asia in March.

As an aside, the Korean article I read (in translation - I'm not that clever) was written by AI. I didn't realise this until I got to the end and it was stated by the publisher. As I read the article, I thought it was a bit formulaic - an overview of the plot followed by resumés of the lead actors, ending with technical details such as release dates and so on. Soulless - but I can see from the publisher's point of view, it was a quick and cheap way to fill space.

Is this what our future holds? Bland journalism - maybe even the comments section will be produced by AI? Where will it all end?
