I have read about the many silent classics from the 1920's like LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT that were destroyed by this fire.
So was it only the silent films that were destroyed or were there any MGM sound films destroyed?
And were there any more contemporary sound films from the 1940's, 1950's and early 1960's that were destroyed or were those films stored elsewhere?
