Recently been watching a few episodes of this show, for the first time in many years. It's better than I remembered. That great Henry Mancini theme music, Lola Albright singing, beatings in dark and shadowy film noirish alleys, excellent teasers before the opening credits, and holding it all together, suave and cool Craig Stevens. In "Fill the Cup," an episode about an alcoholic who hires private eye Peter Gunn to help him stay off the booze, there were some very interesting, and probably expensive, animated sequences illustrating an alcoholic's delusions. "The Comic" has a fine performance by Shelly Berman as the title character, and a very clever ending. Why not check out the series if you can? It's on YouTube.
