Primal (2019-23) aka Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal or Primal: Tales of Savagery

Some of the ERB Tarzan novels have our main character believing Jane is dead and have him revert to pre-civilized savagery, other than the fact that in Primal, the nameless protagonist seems more Conan-like (also, a seeming Neanderthal in comparison to the more Cro-Magnon looking characters) it could easily be a stand-in for the character of Tarzan as presented in these specific novels.
Clearly intended to explore themes and visuals Samurai Jack could not, where Samurai Jack’s victims were ultimately revealed to be robots, here all are living beings, because of which there is much blood, gore and entrails as a result of ever-present violence.

Primal’s universe might be equal to that of The Flintstones with its mixture of humanity and Anthropocene-suited creatures plus some from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods shared with fantasy creatures and gods, sorcery and magic rather than supposedly science-fictional elements such as the presence of The Great Gazoo (Harvey Korman).

That little to no spoken language is evident is proof sufficient that silent films are viable still in the present.

Excellent series.
