Zhenya, 12, is caught in a terrible fire in which his mother dies - but she sticks around to take care of him. Zhenya is joined by two unlikely ghost hunters, one a creepy mute mystic who may or may not be entirely human. They become a team finding ghosts - good, bad or very disturbed to bring resolution to their souls - not always with the ghost's consent.
