Christopher Nolan's next film has been announced - a reworking of Homer's The Odyssey - released in July 2026.
So not a vampire film after all - though there are vampire-like creatures in The Odyssey. Scylla and Charybdis in particular. They are immortal and can only communicate with the living when they drink blood.
There have been many versions of The Odyssey over the years - starting with George Melies' Mysterious Island (1905) - look out for the special effects in the second half:
The most recent is the 'realistic' The Return with Ralph Fiennes. I'm guessing Nolan's work will be more effects-laden:
