Last year I shot a 3-D horror short called Scream a Little Dream. It concerns a young woman who six months earlier survived a car accident that took the life of a friend. Now she's haunted by nightmares of a masked killer stalking her. But are they just nightmares or something much worse?

My terrific cast and crew and I shot it in 3 days. The original rough cut was 41 minutes, but I cut it back to 22 minutes for the film festival circuit. It had a fairly successful festival run, including several showings in 3-D. The most notable showings were a 3-D showing in NYC at Shock-A-GoGo and a 2-D showing at the New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival in Atlantic City. Incidentally, it played much better in 3-D than 2-D.

The cast and I have decided to get back together this spring and turn the short into a full length 3-D feature. The missing 20 minutes are going to be restored to the film and an additional 40 or so minutes will be shot. The feature will have more characters, more plot twists, more mayhem, more 3-D effects, and (as my actresses like to say) more stabby stabby murders. The feature will be sent back into the film festival circuit upon completion.

I've started an Indiegogo campaign for the film. Among the perks are 3D Blu Rays (well BD-R), DVDs, and digital downloads of the original short and/or the feature.  One of the most fun perks is a View Master reel with seven scenes from the movie.

This film isn't going to be particularly gory. I'm going for more William Castle than Eli Roth, more Pyscho than Saw. So if you like that type of film, please consider supporting our campaign.
