This looks like it could be the surprise hit of next year - an engaging cast, a decent plot, mysteries, adventure, romance and enough jump scares to test an orchestra of crickets.
Mirek feels his relationship with Veronika needs a boost. He knows she is a horror movie fan so he books them on a coach tour of a remote Czech forest known as the Knot of Evil. The others on the coach are a motley bunch who include a detective story enthusiast, a gay who wants to be an actor, a teen geek permanently scared and a happily married couple who seem too good to be true.
There are mysteries to be solved in the forest and a potential treasure to be found - the question is how come nobody has successfully solved these mysteries or found this treasure before?
