"On May 19, 1998, a civil aviation plane, flight 218, took off from Barnaul to Vnukovo Airport and disappeared from radar 20 minutes later. 26 years later, a phone rang in a Moscow apartment, and a cheerful voice from the past, belonging to one of the passengers, told the confused landlady: "It's dad, I just landed, I'm calling from a payphone, I'm rushing home, bring me 180 rubles for a taxi."
It's true that when the daughter got there, no sign of her father could be found but it does provide the basis for a fascinating series. Anna, an investigative journalist is sent to inspect the remains of a plane when it is found, accompanied by an FSB agent - no bodies are found but a copy of Tetris 98, amongst other items, are picked up in the passenger compartment. What could be going on?
