She had a long and varied career, but we probably know her best from the iconic Luis Buñuel trilogy of the 1960s, VIRIDIANA, THE EXTERMINATING ANGEL, and SIMON OF THE DESERT. She was regarded as the last living major star of "Golden Age" Mexican cinema.
