Recently this remarkable still from FRANKENSTEIN (1931), showed up on Facebook's Universal Horror & Classic Creatures group, a very worthy site with many rare photos and stills, administered by Mark French.
This photo is interesting (and new to me), in that though the hanging body is seen from afar as Frankenstein and Fritz approach it, this closer shot showing the upper part of the head and body is not seen in the film.
But a question: Could the same dummy have been used as the doomed Fritz in the dungeon, hanged by the Monster? Again, the shot below with the Monster and Fritz' body is not seen in the actual film.
And finally, when the completely unconvincing Frankenstein dummy (is that Jerry Mahoney?), is thrown from the windmill, could that again have been the same dummy?
Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere.
