Emerging on the cinema circuit in Europe is this Finnish-Polish co-production based on the popular Italian children's book by Manlio Castagna. Two quarrelsome kids are sucked into a mystery that involves an international organisation stealing holes (yes, holes) for nefarious purposes. The only way to stop them and save the world is to enter the town's sewage system. Don't worry, kids love doing that kind of stuff.
A familiar face in Finland, actress Kati Outinen is familiar to international audiences from her roles in Aki Kaurismäki's surreal comedies - but she has worked wider afield including Lee Cronin's eerie Irish tale The Hole in The Ground in which a mother begins to suspect her son isn't her son at all - full movie available on YouTube:
