Okay, no real genre credits but this guy made a career from being on that soap opera, starting from the sixties and still active in intermittent appearance at the time of his death. My mother watched it for a few years until she got tired of it so I remember him quite well. The storyline had him get involved with an actress on the show, close to twenty years younger, and they married both on the show and in real life. They were booted from the show in the eighties, but were brought back a few years later. I read she is still on the show, making her the longest appearing actress on the series. They were still married at the time of his death. He had the romantic male lead role in Broderick Crawford's Stop You're Killing Me movie back in the fifties. He was also a singer of the mediocre lounge singer variety and could be heard singing back on the show in the early seventies.

By the way, at the very end of that clip walking into the club is Patricia Barry who starred in two Karloff Thriller episodes. See? I got some genre in there, sort of.
