Set during the 1980s Iran/Iraq war.
A group of children lust after the bananas hanging from the banana tree in the son of Kianoush's garden. They wait until a wedding day when the whole village is celebrating to enact their dastardly plan to scrump some bananas. Strange events unfold - not the least of which is the arrival of an Iraqi pilot from a downed bomber south of the village.
