Seen via its ABC prime time tv premiere on WJLA Channel 7, in Washington, DC.
One of my two or three favorite shows growing up was The Six-Million Dollar Man. I looked up to Lee Majors. I couldn’t fathom why he wasn’t a bigger Hollywood star making big screen features than he was as a small screen actor. Obviously, I hadn’t seen him in AIP’s The Norsemen yet… anyway..
Majors pilots ‘Starflight One,’ which ends up in orbit. Just like in Marooned, various attempts are made to rescue the passengers. Hal Linden even makes it to a space shuttle in an airtight coffin (!)
At least Majors made it back into space once more.
