Fine Western series starring Rory Calhoun in the titular role.
The particular episode I just viewed was "Caballero." Although Caesar Romero was of course fitting for the role of the Mexican policeman, what surprised me was the casting of Whit Bissell as Crawford. Contrary to his usual roles, this one has him instead as distinguished and urbane, as shown in the words he spoke. A role I would have expected from Robert Middleton, another actor seen in many Westerns. Also surprising was the abundance of gunfight action at the climax, much more than you would expect from just a half hour story.
