Facebook's silver Superman page had some info I never heard of and it turns out is absent from Wikipedia. It states Titano was created by Otto Binder and Curtis Swain in Superman #127 (February 1959). But it turns out he actually first appeared in the Superman Sunday newspaper strip almost a year earlier under the name "Big Boy." But it is the same character with Krypton radiation eyes deadly to Superman. Who wrote it Is uncredited but I assume Binder. The art is Wayne Boring who also did the story in Superman #127. So why is Swain credited as co creator? Swain did draw the cover.
This is from the sixth installment of the newspaper strip, April 13, 1958.
