No doubt some people feel miffed and come back to haunt the living with a vengeance - those are the ones we tend to hear about - but what about normal people, do their personalities change?
Apparently not, In this enterprising new movie, dead influencers and entertainers compete to become famous - that irritating need for attention doesn't die when you pass on. Maybe there's even an award show - because formal recognition improves your ghostly profile, right?
The film stars French-Chinese actress Sandrine Pinna, a fan favourite in fantasy. She is also in the current release Mao yao qi tan / Strange Affair - the movie is set during the Tang Dynasty and tells the story of cats who occupy the bodies of women at night to dance and play. (sounds good to me)
Sandrine had a key part in Once Upon a Time in Lingjian Mountain (2019), a sprawling tale of romance, fantasy, comedy and banditry over thirty-seven episodes - based on the manga Spirit of Blade Mountain. The whole series is available for free on iQiYi if you are interested.
