Starts out like a sub-standard re-run of A Simple Plan and continues that way until about the last 15 minutes when it soundly gets weird and swerves very much into Monsterkid territory. If they’d stuck to their guns if might have been a half-decent 6/10, this unlikely, unimaginable and unworkable detour takes it down to a 3.
