Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
How could one possibly be nostalgic for the Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield Spidermen already? And yet, this live-action Spider Verse story is meant to appeal exactly to that audience.
Three heroes (with Tom Holland as the main one,) and more villains than you can shake a stick at is supposed to be at least thrice the fun, but is it? It simply seems more chaotic.
Humorous scenes of the three of them interacting seem like a very expensively produced Funny or Die video and are, for the most part, the highlight of the film.
If that is your jam, then this is for you.
Overall, it’s fine, but aren’t we all kinda burnt out by now? I know I am, since I barely bothered to write even this, and only remembered to do it a couple of weeks after watching the film.
Still, I loved seeing Alfred Molina as Doc Ock again.
Also, with Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Benedict Wong, Tony Revolori, Marisa Tomei.
But ...just where the hell are Nicholas Hammond and Danny Seagren?
