This one's an odd one - a Mexican film set in the United States with a largely British cast that debuted at the Guadalajara International Film Festival.
"We wanted to make a film that really competes in international markets," said director Yossi Zagha. "We want to break a little with the stigma of what Mexican cinema is, this is a 100% Mexican film, but you wouldn't realize it when you see it. It has many fresh things, among them, the ending that I can't tell you, but what I love about Poseida is that the girl Caroline is a 14-year-old girl who is really going to fight and is going to fight against this entity that possesses her. She does this in an intelligent way, something we don't usually see in horror movies,”
Caroline is played by Gia Hunter - British audiences may remember her from the Amazon TV series Chloe, in which she played Chloe as a teenager. In Poseida, Caroline is penetrated by a beetle-like creature (think Shivers) that seeks to control her but she resists.

Looks promising - but I can't help thinking the working English-language title of The Containment doesn't signify much - Possessed would be good enough but maybe you can think of something better
