Sorry if this has been a thread previously; I did search and found just references to the word "legacy" but no dedicated thread.
Please move if necessary, thanks.
At any rate, I saw this for the first time this week, and I was disappointed. It has a nice premise, and good enough acting, but the execution sure fell short. VERY slow pacing, a plot that degenerated into "Ten Little Indians" very quickly, and a denouement that was confusing, at least to me. I also didn't care for the overly graphic deaths, which seemed to be trying to compete with the fairly recent "Omen" films. Too many questions; how old was Mount Olive? How long was Maggie supposed to live? Was she going to use her powers for good or ill? Did all the staff know what was up, or just the nurse?
I certainly didn't hate it, but was hoping for more.
Your thoughts?
