2025 is just around the corner, and i wonder what the Motion Picture Industry will say or do in tribute to this milestone of Cinefantasica come next year....
As everyone knows that this 1925 motion picture was the direct precursor to "KING KONG" and to every subsequent feature film in all of "Dinosaur Cinema", even The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences should be expected to hold a special celebration or event in honor of its importance in the history of Movie Special Effects....or will they ?....
And what of the future of motion picture Creature Effects ?....Surely there must be something else after Stop-Motion and CGI in the next phase of realistic creature creation, which is why i strongly believe one of the major upcoming techniques for this will be Advanced* Full-Size RC Robotic Reproductions. Only with this method will it be possible to have live public events or shows wherein life-size titanosaurs, dragons, cyclops or other similarly gigantic creatures realistically move, walk and run on four or two legs on a street beside modern humans, which could also conceivably replace CGI as the more effective method in motion pictures of stories involving extinct, mythical or imagined creatures.
