Having just obtained a reissue of the old Aurora 'Guillotine' kit, I decided to rewatch the 'Carry On' comedy 'Don't Lose Your Head' as a painting reference.
As soon as the credits rolled, I immediately spotted some very familiar names among the supporting cast: Valerie Van Ost from 'Dracula A.D. 72', Jacqueline Pearce from 'Plague of the Zombies' and 'The Reptile' plus Leon Greene from 'The Devil Rides Out. (Rather Ironically, the opening narration is done by Patrick Allen who was used to dub poor old Leon in said Hammer horror and was also the redcoat captain in 'Captain Clegg'!)
As a lifelong fan of Gerry Anderson's two darker series, 'Captain Scarlet' and 'UFO', I've also noted a virtual plethora of Hammer alumni in these shows and will attempt to list them in this thread as I revisit them both in the next few days.
In the meantime, please feel free to add any names you can think of! (And not just Gerry Anderson - another example is Geoffrey Bayldon, the hotel porter from 'Dracula' (1958) who later became famous as 'Catweazle' in the UK.)
