Sometimes I think my whole life is an endless resolution. But even having the opportunity to think about 2024 -- once so far in the future -- is a blessing.
1) Now that Covid is mostly a nasty nuisance rather than something worse, I do resolve to get out more, even travel. My brother lives in the Sierra Nevada and worth a trip!
It's amazing to see so many friends posting from exotic locales while I'm grumbling that Tony is taking a day off on Pardon The Interruption.
2) I resolve, too, to dig deeper into the dozens of still shrink-wrapped Blu-Rays I amassed during and after the pandemic but somehow never found the time to watch. ROBOT MONSTER in 3-D? It's sitting right there.
3) I also resolve as a CHFB administrator to be less grumpy. The spirit of things, not the letter.
4) And finally, to try in every way possible to be a force for normalcy and restraint with friends and my writings, such as they are. Retirement is a hard gig!
How about you?
