I keep asking these questions about the discs and the sticks and cards, but no matter how helpful the answers are, I keep getting lost.
First, I know of course that the number of items saved on one means as much when it comes to using up space as the size of each item, but I still don't understand how to add that up properly (assuming that there is an obvious way).
The second thing is, unless I'm getting something very wrong, the free space that I'm shown by the computer is evidently misleading a lot of the time (sort of like a misleading gas gauge that shows an amount of gasoline that isn't there). If so, how would someone "read" it properly?
I know these are very uneducated questions as usual, but are there answers to them?
