Lurching slowly through the festival circuit is this gory fun-filled Canadian movie from the makers of Turbo Kid. The film emerges from the grave this week at the fifth Grindhouse Paradise festival in Toulouse - the repository for all those under-financed poorly distributed, yet so bad they are good movies produced annually.
"In a city infested with the living-impaired aka non-cannibal zombies - three slackers after easy money must fight small-time crooks and an evil megacorporation to save their kidnapped grandma."
I like the phrase living-impaired. The zombies move majestically, slowly as they should - but it might be fun to have zombies in a film infected with a virus that makes them move at twice the normal speed - imagine the fear of the remaining humans - perhaps a film or TV series like this already exists and I missed it? I don't watch a great many zombie movies.
I believe We Are Zombies is adapted from a comic book? Megan Peta Hill adds gravitas to the film - an experienced actress, she has appeared in Riverdale, Supernatural and was in the TV series iZombie so I guess she has practice in lurching:

Here's another example of the living-impaired :>
