Oh, how I wrestled with what folder to place this topic.... Animation? Stream and Stream Again?
I finally settled on this one. Because after all, these are newly produced "trailers," if you will.... and in the case of one of these sources, they're actually taking recent/current sci-fi epics -- Dune, Avatar -- and reimagining them as '50s/early-'60s movies (?!)
Tom Weaver first drew my attention to this new phenom in the "What Annoys and Irritates You" thread, when he flagged a disturbingly well-produced faux '60s sci-fi "clip" found in a YouTube account called AI Creative Project: https://www.youtube.com/@rayred
I just now stumbled across the one that recreates modern sci-fi's as classics -- called Abandoned Films: https://www.youtube.com/@abandonedfilms
OMG and WTF and all that... No wonder Hollywood unions are freaking out....
