Green Arrow and Hawkeye are both archers, so I thought it interesting to compare their arsenals, their quivers.
Green Arrow came first because he originated in the Golden age, so Hawkeye is a copycat. But sometimes Hawkeye makes up for it by making improvements.
A good example of a Hawkeye improvement over Green Arrow is Green Arrow's suction-cup arrow. That suction cup arrow is for the function of hoisting so that Green Arrow can be hoisted up to a higher level of a high-rise building, etc. GA would climb up the rope or cord that dangles from the arrow.
The improvement made by Hawkeye is that his suction tip arrow also includes a pulley-system that raises Hawkeye upward automatically. Compare that to Green Arrow's shaft whereby he has to climb manually.
And there are other differences between the two archers, such as their characterizations. But my main focus is on their arrows.
