Comics fandom lost one of its most illustrious pioneers, Roger Hill, to cancer on Dec. 6 at age 75. He was a major EC fan, involved with the celebrated fanzines Squa Tront & EC Fan-Addict. He was an artist of no mean ability himself, was a noted historian of the field in general, & over the last few years authored books on legendary artists Reed Crandall, Mac Raboy (a copy of which I took delivery just a couple of days ago) and Matt Fox (newly published).
